About Us
Muirs Automotive set up on Paramatta Road 70 years ago, two years before Holden started making cars in Australia.
The Westconnex Project has bought the dealership site and Muirs will be closing the doors for the last time on 29 March 2018, after the company was unable to find a suitable site to relocate.

Long time Muirs Smash Repairs employees Peter Lake and Gerry McGillcuddy bought the business last year and have undertaken a substantial makeover including a new concrete floor, new logo, as well as new offices and staff facilities. Lake said that the prime location and the loyalty of the team who all stayed on were two of the main reasons for buying the business. Fresh paint has spruced up an old, boutique shop. Inner city repairers in small premises always struggle for space however the recent refurbishment has meant that there’s an easy workflow. The business has a wide spread of clients – including, of course, plenty of Holden and Kia customers and seven police station fleets.
